Essential Beauty Formula for Acne-Prone Skin
The Acne-Prone Skin Essential Beauty Serum is specially formulated for acne-prone skin. This Essential Beauty Serum contains pure oils like Melaleuca alternifolia and cedarwood that are known for their ability to protect, strengthen and nourish the skin. This blend also includes:

Eucalyptus Staigeriana: Eucalyptus is known for cleansing and purifying properties.

Melaleuca Alternifolia: Melaleuca alternifolia has long been used to ease a wide variety of ailments and maintain the body's natural defenses.* This oil can be used in skin care for its cleansing effects.

Manuka: Manuka oil is considered to be twenty times more active than Australian tea tree oil against gram positive bacteria and up to ten times more effective against fungus. Manuka helps to cleanse and protect the skin in a balanced way.

Oils and Vitamins: In addition, this formulation contains a base of coconut, avocado, jojoba, rosehip seed and wolfberry seed oils, vitamin E and lecithin.

Essential Beauty Formula for Dry Skin
Young Living's Essential Beauty Serum contains essential oils like blue cypress, cedarwood, and lavender, known for their ability to restore the skin's natural moisture balance. As the skin matures, or feels dry, the therapeutic oils in this blend helps to preserve tissue, conditions the skin, prevents cellular DNA damage, moisturizes and nourishes dehydrated skin. It does not leave a heavy mask on the surface of the skin; it is absorbed by the cells in the skin and actively works through the skin layers.

In addition to the blue cypress and lavender, this formulation includes myrrh, clove and sandalwood:

Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha): An ancient biblical oil, myrrh has a long history of use in skin care for its restorative benefits to aging and dry, chapped skin. Myrrh is supportive to the body's natural cellular repair process.*

Maria's Recommendations
Twice a day, I use the Young Living Beauty Serums to correct and Revitalize my skin. After cleansing the skin, I apply the ART Purifying Toner to my skin and then apply the Serum. I use the Serum for Dry Skin in the morning and before going to bed, I apply The Beauty Serum for Acne-Prone Skin.

The reasoning of my routine is this: I do not have acne-prone skin however I know that my body works with the active oils to remove toxic materials, bacteria from the cells and blood. I can feel the oils actively working under my skin. I know that this formula will remove any build up of stagnation while I am sleeping. It is a potent formula and there is no doubt that it is affective for acne, sluggish lymph system, dull complexion or skin problems. The Serum can be spot applied or massaged over the face and neck.This is my choice of serum at night.
