AROMATHERAPY RECIPES: DRESSINGS

Dressings get an extra special flavor with the use of essential oils. Try these aromatherapy recipes for fruit salads and green salads all year long.

Please remember to use only food grade essentail oils for internal use. All of Young Living's oils are food grade and are safe to use in all types of cooking. Try some of the following recipes for your friends and family!

Apple-Walnut Vinaigrette

½ Granny Smith apple, peeled and cored
1 shallot
¼ c. apple cider vinegar
1 tsp. Blue Agave
2/3 c. olive oil
1/3 c. walnuts

Process all ingredients in a blender until creamy. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Makes 1 ½ cups.

#3224 32 fl. oz. Blue Agave Nectar

Orange Dressing

1 garlic clove
2 Tbs. sesame oil
8 oz. frozen orange
Juice concentrate
1 drop of ginger oil
¼ c. pine nuts
¾ c. blue agave
½ tsp. cayenne pepper (to taste)
1 c. olive oil

Add all ingredients (except olive oil) to blender and puree. Slowly add olive oil to assist in the emulsification process. Refrigerate . Stores for 2 weeks. Makes 4 cups. Excellent for marinating chicken. Perfect on mandarin chicken salad. Makes a delicious dipping sauce.

Strawberry Vinaigrette

1 c. strawberries, chopped
2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
2 Tbsp. Young Living Blue Agave
1 drop Young Living basil oil

Puree ingredients in a blender until smooth. Chill and serve on salad greens. Makes ½ cup.
