AROMATHERAPY RECIPES: BREAD
Aromatherapy and bread seem to be a contradiction in terms, but you won't hink so any more after trying the aromatherapy recipes below! These cornbread, muffin and banan bread aromatherapy recipes couldn't be better.

Banana Bread
½ c. Blue Agave
½ c. unsweetened natural applesauce
2-3 medium bananas, mashed
½ tsp. sea salt
¼ c. pumpkin seed oil
2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
2 1/3 c. whole-wheat flour
¼ c. virgin coconut oil
1 drop cinnamon oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix applesauce and Blue Agave together. Mix in egg. Add remaining ingredients and mix together. Spray loaf pan with low/non-fat cooking spray. Pour mixture in pan and bake for 1 hour. Makes 1-2 loaves.

Orange Nut Muffins
Recipe submitted by Larue Billeter
1/ 3 c. cold pressed olive oil
3 tsp. baking powder
¼ c. blue agave
½ tsp. grated orange rind or 1 drop of oil(optional)
½ c. chopped nuts:
(walnuts, almonds ,or both)
½ c. fresh orange juice
2 eggs beating
1 tbs. fresh lemon juice
1 ¾ c. whole – wheat
Pastry flower, sifted
½ tsp. sea salt
Mix all ingredients together. Spoon into greased and floured muffin tins. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Makes 1 dozen muffins.

Texas Cornbread
¼ c. whole-wheat pastry flour
¾ c. cornmeal
2 Tbs. Blue Agave
¼ c. cold pressed olive oil or unsalted butter
1 tsp. sea salt
1 ¾ c. rice or goat milk
1 egg, beaten
3 tsp. baking powder
Mix together and spoon into muffin tins. Bake at 450 for 20 min. Makes 1 dozen muffins.
